This sub is bigger than my mini-fridge. Paired with a Rockville RPA-12 pushing 700w RMS per channel. I can't complain about anything considering the price. It's a great deal. Prime shipping, in two days, in-app real-time delivery tracking, and a 2 person delivery team. Package arrived completely damage free. Box was perfect and the subwoofer was well protected inside. Hick-hop, yee-haw!
For the price , incredible!!!Removed from my crew cabbecause it was too much bass !
Bought the 10" 600W RMS. Currently powering it with a Skar RP-800.1d.For the size I can say it hits hard enough. The box comes with spring loaded terminals, which makes installation pretty easy.Love its size. Even though it's a vented enclosure, I was able to install it in my 2012 Dodge Charger and still got plenty of room left.

I'm a reformed brand snob when it come to audio equipment. I have a recording studio in my house along with a pretty elaborate home theater system, a separate and elaborate gaming system, a 2 channel system just for music and a PA system that I use for parties. Playing in a band for many years exposed me to a lot of different equipment as well, so I think I have a good feel for what works and what doesn't.These speakers don't just deliver "for the price" but they actually just deliver. If you paint over the labels on the dust caps, nobody will know what they are- they'll just know they sound good. I'm still in a little disbelief that these work so well for so cheap.I had two of those super cheap $129 18" Rockville subs for our basement system the kids use to have "dance parties" with their other little kid friends. Those subs were ok, but for the money they were a great deal. They are so much lighter than my JBL amplified 18" that I can take my system places for parties etc. I'm driving them with a crest audio 3.0DSP amp which is pretty powerful and clean. Before blowing up my cheap subs by driving them too hard, I read about these speakers- and the power handling was much more in line with what I was using. Swapped these into those old cheap (but light) cabinet and... wow! Super punchy with great extension down low. I listen to a wide range of music, but the best way to see if a sub is up to it is running some funk, jazz etc through them. These sound better than my JBL 618S's... and not just a little better. They can play bass heavy modern dance stuff or pull off very musical material as well.Even considering what I paid for those cabinets, two of these w/cabinets comes in at about half the price of just one powered JBL sub. One on one against the JBL, hate to say it- the JBL falls flat. I'm simply amazed at these. If you plan to use these in the RBG1184 cabinet, remove the plastic tubes for the ports to avoid port noise. Wish I did this a while ago. The only people I know of who didn't have great results with these- it was probably user error... If someone is blowing one (or more) of these up, they're probably clueless how to use audio equipment. Feed these things REAL power from a quality source and they'll rattle your internal organs.
Not gonna lie but these things pound some clean bass👍🏼If you want clean, between 32hz-120hz bass and then get them. I have 4 and custom made enclosures, each pair ran on a crown 1502 amp and they have blown me away especially for the price!!! Sometimes the crown amps tend to clip a bit but these things love that power especially being clean power and run cool👍🏼 each sub is receiving about 400-475 rms and amp is running of course on bridge at 4ohms. These amps can give you a band pass filter which is awesome!! but i have them at 37.5hz to 125hz and they are more then happy to run all night so far not complaints and have used them about 12 times 5 hour edm and hiphop parties nonstop. Sound very similar to 2 jbl srx dual 18’s with the custom made boxes. highly recommended for a project!! Get a pair and feed it the right power and a good enclosure and you will not be disappointed.
Bought two of these and installed into a pair of custom made bins.Powered by an iNuke 3000dsp in bridged mode and these things are a perfect match for that amp.Punchy, clean with no distortion running amp at 70 to 90%.I have 2 live outdoor shows on these and could not be happier.Amazing value. Packaged nicely too.

This DVC 6.5" sub sounds excellent in my DIY made portable Bluetooth speaker ammo can. I am running 100w + 100w into the speakers. I crossed over the Dayton Audio silk dome tweeters at 10 uF with twin 33 ohm resistors. Balances out the sound perfectly. I have been running the 6.5" DVC DS-18 style sub in these cans...I find that the Skar Audio is much better. It does have a lower SPL and less audible higher midtones vs the DS-18...but, it "sounds" so much better. Pure copper 2" voice coils and about 1" of rubber surround equates to better tonality. I am using a 2" bass reflex port with about 10" of tube inside the can. I am using a 10aH Dakota Lithium battery for power and included a couple USB QC3.0 sockets, 12v power socket, SAE 2-pin sidewall jack (for power/charging). Spent about $500 on this one...but, it sounds so lifelike and pure. I am noticing more "details" in the music...a key sign of the quality Skar Audio put into this 6.5" subwoofer. Not paid by them or Amazon for this review
I recently bought 3 of the Skar audio EVL 6.5. The only negative thing I have to say is wiring them due to the terminals is a pain in the ass. Bought the DVC 2 ohm and wired them in series (after bridging the subs) and running at 1 ohm. I have a Audiopipe APMI-1300 series amp powering them at around 750-800 watts and they hit hard. I would have never thought 3 6.5” subs would be so great but I’m loving my purchase. Friend and I built the box and it’s tuned for 35 hz. All around I’m loving the Skar subs. 9/10 would recommend. Only reason it’s not 10/10 is due to the terminals- hard to get to and wire.In the video I posted the first few seconds I was turning the head unit up to 15 which is plenty loud. It goes up to 40. I was also using my sons iPad connected to Bluetooth playing,“Got 160s by Aaron Bau” it’s a big playlist and it has songs playing anything from 24 hz and up. I chose the song oxycotton cause it hits hard. Video honestly doesn’t do it justice.
I have been Rockford Fosgate buyer since 1989. I just bought a new RF 500watt Amp and my RF DVC 4 ohm 15 inch RFP2215 subwoofer took the dirt nap after 15 years of hard use and 3 different vehicles. I wanted to replace it with another new RF SUB but a friend recommended SKAR. He said to give one a try since you can't go wrong with AMAZON so I did. I have all my speakers replaced in my Hummer H3 with Rockford Fosgate. So I installed the Skar Audio EVL-15 D4 15" 2500 Watt Max Power Dual 4 Ohm Car Subwoofer wired it for 2 ohm just like the Fosgate and the sound is unreal. The base is deep and you feel it shake your entire body not the normal thud in your chest it's earth shaking. If you are on the fence then fall this way.The speaker case is heavy duty. The cone and suspension are top notch. This sub should last a long time. I would recommend to anyone but seriously get a bigger amp. 500 watts isn't even warming this thing up.

All I can say is getting 2 of these subs have made my gigs sound SO much better. I don't know what took me so long to purchase them,I have seen other reviews of the RBG15S sub here in amazon where some people where "underwhelmed" by the sub. I have NO IDEA what they were listening to, but this sub will pull your house down, IF you know anything about subs in general and the fundamentals of gain/volume/crossover/boost. You might think, "well you have TWO subs, so of course they'll sound better and hit harder". While this IS true, I did my testing prior running only one sub (paired to a set of Rockville RPG 12's and it hit HARD. With both hooked up, EVERY and I do mean EVERY wall, window and fixture in my house were flexing and vibrating like crazy. It was so bad, even my garage doors were vibrating and squeaking, lol.Sub Construction - This is a very large and heavy sub, considering it is only a 15", weighing in at about 90lbs! I can't imagine getting the 18"s like I was initially planning The box is covered in carpet and has 2 slotted ports on the bottom front. There is also a blue LED on the front, so you can tell if the speaker is on (when in front of it, with no music playing). This light can be turned off. The box does not flex or creek and all the joints seem to be connected well. In order to move the sub around, I had to put them on my little mini trolly/dolly. The sub has 2 handles and these are also, like the sub, super solid. I never once was concerned about them coming off or anything. When I picked the subs up, likewise, I was never concerned about them flexing or falling apart. The sound - Like I've already mentioned, the sub is pretty powerful and if you know a thing or 2 about sub audio, you can get it sounding tight and fairly accurate. The sub has 2 ways for LINE IN/THRU being a combination XLR/1/4" port. The OUT is 2 XLR connections. For BEST sound I'd suggest using XLR from the Sub to your Tops, IF they are XLR. If your speakers are RCA only, you could do a cable with an XLR side and RCA on the other and run that form the sub to your tops. On the back is Level (aka Volume/Gain), a Crossover and Boost selector. I have my subs in the 11 O'Clock positions (-3) without any Boost options and the crossover at about 100hz. With this setting, the music my clients ask for [Reggae, House, Hip Hop, R&B, Soul and Jazz] sound GREAT. I did play with the Boost options (power and extended) for a few minutes, but these seemed gimmicky at best and fell off at higher levels, and to me sounded artificial. If you find the Bass to be over or underwhelming, you can cut that back or add it through your DJ Controller itself. I find myself adjusting it through the night depending on what I'm playing and at what time (Lounge, Dinner, Dancing). Again, I cannot over stress the importance of understanding Sub-Bass, Gains and Volumes and would suggest doing a little research on the net. If you don't have time for that, you can do as I did: 1) Avoid turning the sub ALL THE WAY up when testing. 2) run the tops first, then slowly turn the sub up until it fills out the bottom end, right to the point before it begins to play the same bass as the 12"'s. 3) Allow for a break-in period by playing your initial practice set at lower levels to give the speakers a chance to get going for the task.[SET UP NOTES]If you are using one sub with two separate speakers - simply run the left and right XLR out of your controller into the subs left and right Input/Thru and then run the left OUT to your left Top and the right OUT to your right Top. Nice and simple. For best sound, place the sub somewhere between the 2 speakers. If you are running 2 subs - run the left XLR cable from your Controller to the left sub Input/THRU and then run from the left OUT to your left Top. Run the right XLR cable from your Controller to the right sub Input/THRU and then run from the right OUT to your right Top. I know this seems like it shouldn't work, however, subs can work on a Mono channel, so having one signal to the sub is just fine. NOTE: if you run yours system like this, you will need to purchase On Stage SS7745 Adjustable Subwoofer Attachment or something similar so that you have one top over each sub, and then place the complete set to the left and right. All I can say is I love my subs and they sound incredible at an inside venue...
As soon as i turned this on, it rattled, as if somwthing was loose inside, being a diy guy, i pulled the sub to check, almost all the screws holding the sub in were stripped, sideways, or barely holding on to the cheap fiberboard, same with the amp. There is almost no glue, and only small tack nails holding the box together. Found multiple panels loose or detached completely. No solder on any of the finitely small wiring, and witha 5A fuse, theres no way this could output the rated wattage. This company obviously has no R&D department and no quality controll. I'd expect better from a highschool woods class. Ill never buy anything from this company again.
I received the sub on time, Great looking, beautifully made piece of equipment. Sounded really great when I used it on try out the first day. I was really impressed. The second day same set up, the sub started playing good as the first day ( set up in my garage)` left it playing and went into my house. on returning to the garage I heard this Grating sound coming from the setup, on investigating, it was coming from the sub. It was painful to listen to, I had to remove it from the setup. I an hopeful that Audio savings or Rockville will replace the sub because I paid good money to purchase ,ship and for freight to get this to my Country , Grenada in the West Indies. Cant afford to lose this. I need the sub for some gigs starting on the 22nd December.
