User reviews

I do not understand the good rating for these very inferior quality blankets. The only thing they had going for them was the design and the price. The design however fades dramatically the first time you wash them (preuse) and they do not wash well at all. The stitching frays with the first wash. I have never seen such a bad quality of flannel blanket.
We use these more for handy grabs now that my baby is older bc they are so small. But they are incredibly soft and on the thinner side, would make for a great lovey blankie! The fox is my fave, his nursery theme. We used them as swaddles when he was newborn and they were great, didn't require a lot of wrapping. He was nearly 9-1/2 lbs and 21", and he was still easily swaddled in them. You will see in the photo, size wise they pretty much cover the cushion of a medium sized recliner.
I actually used these to place over my daughters mattress when she was in the NICU. These aren't oversized which could be a problem for a term baby. They could easily outgrow these. They fade easy too. I liked the design and used them to swaddle my girl but she was under 4 pounds.

7-pack flannel receiving blankets with sweet prints and patterns

User reviews

I have about a million burp cloths (or receiving blankets, swaddles, spit up rags, whatever you want to call them) that all vary slightly in quality, size, thickness, etc. I saw several reviews complaining that these are cheap and ended up being used as rags. I'm not sure what those reviewers were expecting. These aren't "blankets" in the traditional sense, they're similar to the receiving blankets in the hospital that get used for swaddling and cleaning up spit up. We don't use these for swaddling cause we're bad at it, we just use velcro swaddles. Although you certainly could. Ours get used for spit up, laying out bottles and pump materials and the like, laying baby down on surfaces when needed, covering her while in the carseat or while feeding or while at appointments, etc. The list goes on and on and we go through about a dozen a day. These ones just happen to be slightly softer, sturdier, and larger than many of the other ones we have. Also they're super cute. And you get seven of them! Great buy.
Soft and smooth
When I received the blankets they were very stiff and noticeably hard. Washed them and they became soft but wooly. Doesn't seem like the fabric used for this product is very good. I feel you should purchase something a little more durable and higher quality I wouldn't suggest anyone buying these. Cheaper is not always better in this situation.

User reviews

They are soft enough, after the first washing the stitched edging is coming off. We used them for a burping cloth so they did the job. Would probably order again if we needed more.
Super cute. My pup tears the threads off them though. So don’t let them sleep with them if they’re too young. But I’m probably the only weirdo who bought them for a puppy instead of a baby
These are very soft and had a design that went with my nursery. They’re very cute! They are smaller than the Carter’s brand of receiving blankets so they didn’t work too good for swaddling. Also, the quality isn’t great- some of the stitching is loose or crooked, and when you fold it, the corners don’t line up. But they’re pretty inexpensive so I guess it’s understandable.

7-pack flannel receiving blankets with sweet prints and patterns

User reviews

I did not purchase these for babies, I purchased them for my cat's LOL yes you read that right, I wanted them to use for inside their cat house, to make it a little bit more comfortable when they lie down. And they also have a couple cat beds and I tucked them inside the cat beds so the cat beds don't collect as much hair! And as you can see depicted in the photo, I cover my cat up a little bit when it's a little bit cool in here from the air conditioner! These wash up super super good!! I actually said if I had children I would purchase these! And I haven't even mentioned the patterns on these are absolutely adorable!!!
These are pretty standard/basic receiving blankets. About the same size as the ubiquitous pink and blue ones you get from the hospital (maybe a tiny bit bigger, though I haven't measured), but in much cuter patterns. They're basic flannel, so might shrink a tiny bit if you throw them in the dryer. I use them as burp cloths because an actual burp cloth is no match for my "happy spitter" who seems to lose ounces of milk after every feeding! A random comment--I generally avoid using fabric softener/sheets because of my little ones' sensitive skin, but I definitely have to use the scent free dryer sheets with these or the static electricity is ridiculous (though pretty standard for flannel). Overall I would recommend them. They're a good value, very functional and sturdy, and I get plenty of use out of them!
I find that I've struggled to find a good use for these. They are too big/bulky for me--personally--to use as burp cloths and they are really too small to use as blankets. I do use them as an extra cover on my Boppy to help with accidents and it prevents me from having to wash my Boppy and cover as frequently. I also carry one in my diaper bag to use on changing tables. When the baby was little, we were able to swaddle with these, but that didn't last long as they just aren't big enough. I find the material is nice but the size is just awkward.

These blankets were not at all worth the 10 dollar asking price. The material, while "soft", is way to thin. The edges of the blanket are not sewn in a uniform manner. The thread was coming off on every blanket in multiple locations creating a safety hazard for little babies. The blankets were not cut in an even manner. There were no straight cuts resulting in a blanket that really looked like something your 6 year old would make in a 1 hour art project.I decided to spend 3 dollars more and get a package of blankets from Carter's. They are way larger, way thicker, and sewn correctly and cut straight.
I received these blankets recently and think they are great! I love the patterns and they look the same in person as in the image shown here. They are flannel but thin, which is what I was looking for given that I have other heavier blankets and swaddlers. These are about the same thickness as other receiving blankets I've seen and used. I agree with previous reviews that these are not necessarily very high quality. However, I feel the need to point out that you are getting 4 blankets for $10. At that price point I was not expecting luxury. I think my expectations for these blankets were reasonable and I was not disappointed! They're as adorable as they look!
Super cute prints, soft material, large size but poor durability. My newborn son is a week old and the striped receiving blanket has only been washed twice (once before use and once after soiled in gentle honest company detergent) and it's already developing holes. See picture.
