I do not like ordering clothes on line without being able to try them on beforehand since IMO most clothes sizes are unique, do not necessarily match the stated size and run large or small regardless of the tag. I decided to take a chance on the silver brand jeans and ordered the 38x32 Zac relaxed fit strait leg. I normally have worn Guess brand jeans in the past and this is my first experience with Silver Jeans. When they came I immediately tried them on only to find they were EXTREMELY Large as seen in the attached photo. I can slip the jeans on and off while the jeans are completely zipped and buttoned. They are marked as a 38 but they actually wear as a 40-42. I am hesitant to reorder/exchange these for a 36x32, the next lower size, as they likely will arrive being way too small.
I'm kind of a jeans snob, but they're such a rip off these days. Well made designer jeans have either become so cheaply made, or the well made ones make you look like you belong on a fly fishing boat or in a Cabela's commercial. These look like $200+ designer jeans from Nordstrom but are 65% less. Well made, look great and fit perfectly. I'm going back to buy more of these.
I love Silver Jeans, when I get the right ones. I have ordered some that fit great...then I go to replace them with the same thing and the material and fit are different. I really with they had better consistency. The new pants I ordered are baggier, have larger openings at the waist and for the feet, but they are the exact same (design & size) jeans. Also instead of 100% cotton they have something else in them that makes them a little stretchy...which is nice, but it doesn't hold the fit as long and makes them more baggy. Not pleased with this pair!!!And previous pairs do seem to wear out pretty quickly. The pockets have come apart on my last few pair. Frustrating.

Somewhat large but that's my own fault. These are the best made, most detailed jeans I've ever owned....and I have owned ALOT of jeans. American Eagle is what I'm used to wearing...these are made 100 times better. The leather accents on them are really cool. I wear Ariat work boots(I work for the local power company) and Ariat cowboy boots...that's ALL I wear in the way of boots.I currently own 7 pair of their boots.(yes I have a boot/sneaker problem.lol) I honestly didn't realize Ariat made jeans until recently. So I figured that since their boots are so great I'd try out their jeans. They are and will be my new favorite jeans. No, they're not the cheapest but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. And I'm picky about my clothing. Yea I ordered them a little big but that's because AE jeans run smaller than they should and that's what I'm used to...but it's nothing my new wide leather belt can't fix! Great jeans. I'd recommend them to anyone. I plan on purchasing more.(wish I could talk my employer into purchasing the Ariat FR jeans as uniform jeans instead of the current brand they use). I'd give 6 stars if I could!
We bought these for a wedding that we were in, the wedding was October 20. My husband has seriously worn these probably another ten times since the wedding. They fit him amazingly, and they were very fairly priced as compared to stores near us.
The Coltrane style of Ariat jeans are my husband’s favorite. Ariat jeans are durable enough for him to wear to his plumbing job. They’re also one of the only styles we can find in his length (38). He’s been wearing the same several pairs weekly for the last year and they’re holding out very nicely. No holes, no wear and tear. The only issue we had with our last order of Coltranes (and the only reason for the 3 stars) is that the button was clearly sewn too far in making the waist too small. He took the newest pair out of town to wear to a party and had to leave the top button undone under his belt to be comfortable. This is his 6th pair and the first time we’ve had that problem. We are still willing to buy these again.

Silver Jeans are my absolute favorite. I use to wear Wrangler and Rock-N-Roll jeans, which are made with a rougher fabric. Silver jeans are made of a stretchy and comfortable fabric that stretches the longer you wear them. By the end of the day you might have saggy bottom disease. The joint in the crotch wears out pretty quickly and leads to holes in that area. They are a little long on the inseam versus other jean manufacturers as well.
I wear many different cuts of Silver Jeans to include the Craig. I have always ordered 36 x 32 size and am used to the size that I usually get. I am unsure of why but these seemed to be a little bigger. I do have to tighten my belt down pretty good to make sure that they don't fall down and I have to roll the bottoms depending on which type of shoe I am wearing. All my other 36 x 32 jeans fit a little better than this to include another pair of Craig cut. Nothing else is wrong and if you wanted them to be a bit loose than this would be ok. The color, quality, and feel are all standard of Silver jeans (there is a reason I wear them).
Finally, a pair of bootcuts that actually have some space in the thigh! The denim is fairly lightweight and stretchy which feels a little wonky at first, but once you get used to it make them pretty darned comfy. The waist ran a touch bigger than size compared to other brands I've tried, which meant after a day or 2, the waist started getting pretty loose to the point where I've had to pull the belt in another hole to keep them up.

We used to buy these jeans at a local department store that closed. They were always the best quality and husband wore them for years. We have bought two pairs from AMazon and are pretty sure they're a knock off brand. Wore 4 times and holes are forming in the crotch, excessive wear feel, pockets are pulling away, holes in corners of pockets. After comparing to an authentic pair, we noticed several differences. See pictures. Authentic pair on top, knock-off Amazon pair on bottom in comparison pictures. The patches use different stitching, the tags are completely different, the pocket material is completely different quality.
I love the look and fit of these jeans. They are very stylish and fit perfectly. The problem is that the denim used is very cheap and rips/wears out extremely fast. The material does not hold up to any kind of daily wearing and/or normal stress placed on them. I have purchased several pairs and had the exact same problem with each pair. The material around the inseam of the crotch area wears out and rips within a month or two of wearing these jeans. I had hoped the material was a little more durable but these jeans are made in China so the quality is a lot cheaper and poorer than American made cone denim. If you do decide to purchase these jeans you will need to have the material reinforced or expect them to fall apart after about 1-3 months of wear max.
Received a first pair of these, and very much liked the style and look. However upon wearing them the second time, the decorative stitching began to come apart. A replacement pair was received. Shortly after the return window closed the crotch of the replacement pair has begun to tear out after wearing less than 10 times. For the high (albeit discounted) price, I would have expected a much higher quality product. If you are someone who likes to wear jeans for more than a couple of hours once or twice per month, these are not the right jeans for you.

It seemed when I first started wearing 527's almost 15 years ago, it was a great jean - I could count on consistent sizing and they generally used quality fabric. Things have definitely changed over the years, as it seems they consistently use a VERY thin, cheap material for all their jeans, and the sizing is pretty random. After ordering a few different styles last year, I sent back the thin fabric jeans, but kept the thicker ones (the overhaul style) as they fit better and used a higher quality fabric. When I ordered the exact same jeans this year, the ones that arrived were not the same fit/fabric, but rather the same cheap, thin fabric as the different styles I sent back last year.Sadly, I can only offer two things: 1)For the price, you can surely find a better jean out there, 527's simply aren't worth it anymore. 2)If you decide to order ANY 527 styles, be prepared for a cheaply constructed jean that will potentially be a smaller than expected fit, unless you get lucky and randomly pick a style that uses better material that season. As for me, after over 20 years of predominantly choosing Levi jeans, regrettably I will no longer be a Levi's customer. No one should have to cross their fingers and hope that they receive a quality product, and after 3 years of experiencing inconsistent material and sizing, I'm done with the 527 line and Levi's as a whole.
Levi's has a naming problem that just boils my biscuits! Why the heck can't you just say "black jeans" instead of "Native Cali"... and don't get me started on how "Indigo Black" is basically blue. Their stupid color terms always puts online orders at risk of what color I'll actually end up with. That aside, Levi's also has a sizing problem. There is a really helpful review that explains that the sizing is different depending on where the jeans were made, and the reviewer does a great job of explaining the differences. I ordered three different pairs of 32" by 32" jeans to test the review theory. Two came from one country and the third from another. The two from one country (Native Cali and Indigo Black) both fit perfectly and were exactly the same as my favorite pair of 527s from back in the day. The one from the other country (Medium Chipped) couldn't even get over my hips and was around 2 inches too small to even button despite the tag saying that the size was 32" by 32". Did I instantly gain 2 inches to my waistline? Or does Levi's have a problem that has become so consistent that you have to read a helpful review to figure out the real sizing? I'll let you decide which, but the short of it is check out that review because if you don't, you may end up with either a larger waist then you thought or jeans that don't fit!Quick sidenote, it was thanks to Prime Wardrobe that I was able to try all 3 without having to pay upfront. That was really convenient since I was able to turn around and easily send the Medium Chipped pair back before I was charged. If you need to play around with sizes, check out Prime Wardrobe!
After 35 years of brand loyalty, I have purchased my last pair of Levis. This review is for two pairs of exchanged jeans due to the first set’s inferior quality. I have included photos to back my claims, as I am aghast at what the Levis brand has become. Manufactured in Pakistan, both pairs are garbage: thin cotton, inconsistent measurements, cheap stitching, and colorization issues are the highlights. In the pictures, I’ve laid one pair over the other, and both are the same brand, model, and color. One can easily see that the second pair under the first if a full size larger in the waist and inseam. Also, the stitching and color is vastly different. Again, these are the same jeans made in the same part of the world. It’s outrageous to keep sending bad product back to Levis only to receive even worse product in exchange. Levis is no longer a premium brand. If you desire quality jeans, you must certainly look somewhere else. I am convinced due to observing Levis’ downfall over the last decade that this brand has no desire to turn back the clock and once again offer their customers a decent product.
