Believe the hype, these are fantastic! So simple to assemble and disassemble. I have had 350+ pound people on the top bunk without issue.
My immediate family has five kids so i bought two sets of this model disc-o-bed. It has been used a few times now on extended camping trips (more than two nights outside) and it holds up really well. These are heavy and require assembly, but go together without much trouble if you follow the printed instructions. I will say this is a very expensive item. If you are just looking for a cot for extra space or camping with a little extra comfort, buy a pair of cots for half the price of these. But if space is a major issue (like cramming 7 people into a single canvas tent) and you are willing to spend the extra dollars, this is an excellent choice. Its expensive, but a very well made product.
I bought this set expecting to be able to do bunk beds. It does not come with everything to do the bunk beds you have to buy the extension set to make bunk beds. It is impossible otherwise.

Skip the air mattress, this cot is far superior, and it's fabulous being off the ground. Had a great night's sleep, it was very stable and comfortable. I highly recommend this cot.Based on previous reviews, a sleeping bag and light blanket were used as a pad. Creeking while turning over was minimal and far less than what I experience using an air mattress. It comes with a nice travel bag with handles that makes it compact to carry.Based on previous questions & answers, I couldn't tell if in fact the cot is supposed to click or snap when the legs are fully extended in place, and my cot did not make a click or snap sound. So I contacted the seller after 6 p.m. Maine time, and received an immediate response. Jay had me send pictures so he could tell if the legs were fully extended and once again, I received an immediate reply confirming the legs of the cot were setup correctly.
I've slept on this for the past 2 nights in my home office to test it out and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm 6 feet 1 inch tall, weight is 190 pounds, and I'm a side sleeper. I've got a 3 inch memory foam topper on it, but I think it would do fine without it because the material is is pretty quality made and lying down on it doesn't feel in the least. The fact that there is no metal exposed on the sides, and no metal bar on either end of the cot is absolutely essential. I wouldn't want to be touching up against metal while I sleep, especially when I take this out on a camping trip and don't have a roof over my head other than a tent.As far as unfolding it and folding it back up, it can't get any easier than this. I was a little concerned at first that there are no locks on the legs, because I switch from side to side throughout the night when I sleep, but I found that this cot presented zero stability issues with me moving about like that. My primary concerns when I was shopping around for a cot was space and ease of placement and removal, and the Easy Cot knocked it out of the ball park easily.I have never slept on a cot before, so I can't really compare this to other products. As far as I know, pretty much every other product I looked at had metal bars on the ends, with some having a metal bar in the middle for stability. This has no metal at bar in the middle, and I think that is a key element in the comfort level because no matter how tight the surface area is of where you lay on it to go to bed, eventually over time the material of is bound to stretch a little bit and you could find yourself with a metal bar touching up underneath your back while you sleep. At that point, I guess the cot would become essentially useless. That will never be an issue with the Easy Cot. I highly recommend this.
This is the very best cot I have ever owned and I've owned many. It collapses and folds into a bag just like a camping chair. It is oversized so it is wider and longer than most cots. Sturdy enough that I can sit on the edge to put my socks on and not sink into it like most cots. There is no middle bar in the back issues as it is not in the design. The other thing I like is that this cot is higher than most making easier to get out of especially in the mornings. It's comfortable enough to sleep on your back or your side without it feeling like board or sagging into the canvas. The quality of the construction was great. I've used this on several weekend campouts without any issues.

So, I got this despite the reviews saying that it was difficult to put up but I wanted a wider cot so I didn’t really care. The first time setting it up was admittedly hell. We didn’t have a clue as to how it should really be set up as it didn’t come with instructions but we got it done. I will tell you what I’ve learned. There are two different length bars that go on this cots top and bottom to stabilize it. The longer one is for the side with the patch/head of the cot while the shorter one is for the blank side/foot of the cot. Position the cot canvas as near centered as you can. The first time we put it together we actually snapped down the bars on opposite corners then finished the foot side and the longer top bar gave us enough leverage that we could snap the final top side in. It’s pretty much drum tight. Please for your sake leave it up for a day or two and let it stretch out a bit. While the first time it went up it took me and a full grown man struggling to put it together, the second time I could snap it together all by myself. This does not mean that it isn’t just as tight. It still makes a drum sound if you hit it it’s just been stretched to shape now. After the first time putting it together as long as you snap the foot bar down first you can brace the top and pull the head bar into place pretty easily. I still attach one of the sides to the head bar first but once it’s been used a little it’s easier to deal with. I may add pictures later.Hope this helped,Happy camping!
I bought two of these cots. They are even better than I was expecting. Putting them together involved utilizing some muscles. But that's good, because it made the canvas taught, which made the cot very comfortable. I had a thin pad on top of the cot and it was super comfortable for me. Easy to get in and out of without worrying about it collapsing...very sturdy. I recommend these.
I've slept on a few cots in my time... I've slept on army cots while in the Army. And I will say this is very similar to the type used in the US military. It's construction is very similar. It unfolds the same and has the same separate end tension bars (that same people don't use). This civilian model is definitely larger, I'm 6'4" and it fits me well. This cot is definitely heavier than the military (all aluminum) cots as it's a bit bigger and has some steel components. Basically it's the same as the US military with some bits changed here and there. The building is the same. Unfold the three legs, stand it up, and then force in the end bars... That last part it's the hardest because your working against the slack of the cot.My only real negative that I didn't expect when ordering this cot was this. There is a protective film over all of the aluminum bars to protect them during the manufacturing process that is still on the bars. It makes them slick and the film will be peeling up quickly.Otherwise it's a good comfortable cot. I have zero regrets and the film is minor really.

I’m 330lbs and I approach everything that’s gonna support my weight cautiously. I have no hesitation laying in this cot. Spent two weeks on it camping. It’s legit
My boy scout was off to a weeklong sleep-away camp and needed a cot. I liked the design of this one, knowing that a more complicated cot could cause problems but if you can open a collapsible chair, you can open this cot. This cot is the most comfortable cot I've ever tried, even without a sleeping bag. With extra padding, I knew he'd be okay for the week. The carry bag is a little flimsy and I noticed that the area where the webbed strap attaches was starting to come apart but I don't even care because the cot itself is excellent!
I liked it right-away. It’s lightweight and easily useable right out of the box and once your weight is applied evenly for breaking in training purposes; you will “Love! It.” I fell in love with it-as oppose to liked it-on the 3rd day of use out of only having it for 5 days, 22-26 Jan 2019. It is well structured for the 600lbs it claims it could suppport-which was the selling point and reason I bought it.My only complaint is shipping time. I think you should get your order in four to five days, minus the weekends & holidays after placing the order. But I blame that on the shipping company they use. Fed-ex always delivers packages late in the evening , all the away up to 8:00 PM, if they deliver at all. In my case the driver lied and said he/her attempted to deliver but no one was home. Well I know that was a lie because I sat at home in waited after checking the tracking number and out-for-delivery ont the truck for 12 hour. No slip was left on my door nor in my mailbox. I Drove 10 miles to their hub at 1901 W. 29th street in Chicago and waited approximately 3 hours until the driver got back to receive my package. My only advice to them is to change their shipping from Fed-ex to UPS, who are much more reliable.

My grandson loves it! I bought it for the sensory impact, he is 18 and autistic. He is a big boy and this fits great on a full size bed. The only problem i was having is that he insisted on leaving all sides zipped and little by little the tent would slide down and i didnt like the amount of head room available for this big boy. I attached a small hook in the ceiling and string through the top of the tent frame...it pulled it up nicely and he has a vast amount of headspace and better ventilation. Great purchace!
I bought this tent to help transition my toddler into a twin size bed. At the moment the tent is set up over a mattress on the floor and fits perfectly. It’s super cute & my little guy loves it, I find him playing in it through the day. I was concerned that it didn’t have a floor because my son can be very busy and destructive at times. I worried he would pull it off the mattress or try to climb it & break the poles, so instead of rolling up the open side flaps I’ve been tucking them underneath the mattress which has been keeping it securely in place & he hasn’t messed with it at all. We recently moved from a very hot climate to a much colder one & Im happy that it seems to keep him toasty warm while sleeping if at least 2 sides are closed. Very happy with this purchase, compliments his mountain themed room perfectly!
My daughter loved the tent for the two weeks it lasted. The ties that secure it to the bed broke within 2 days. My daughter fell on one of the tent poles and the fiberglass shattered all over her bed it was extremely unsafe for a child.
