Not an Amazon issue, but a Barnett issue. Full disclosure: This product is marketed for the Raptor, I own the Whitetail Pro. Barnett does not make an EVA case specifically for the Whitetail Pro. However, a few reviews said this case would work, and to be fair, a few said it would not. End answer: It does and does not.Remove the foam and it’s a tight fit, which is good. Here’s the kicker; the Whitetail stirrup is not quite as wide as the EVA case strap that goes through the stirrup to complete closure with two strap buttons.I contacted Barnett customer service and asked if Barnett would be making a case specific to the Whitetail. Was not answered, but rather told twice it should work. Asked for photographic proof, was offered none, only reassurances that the Whitetail fits in the Raptor EVA.Still love my Whitetail, and will likely keep the Raptor EVA, as there is nothing else. But go into the purchase wide-eyed and knowledgeable.
The case is great. It comes with a good amount of soft foam padding (Velcro removable) on the inside to cushion the bow/scope and hold them securely in place, and a harder formed exterior shell to provide serious protection. The zippers (one up each side) seem strong enough to last. The size if nearly perfect. Width and height are ideal (snug, but in a good way). Unfortunately, the front to back length is a problem for the Whitetail Hunter Pro (WHP) I own. The WHP is about an inch longer than the Whitetail Hunter that this case was probably designed for. What that means is that it fits tightly, and the two snaps that seal that front where the stirrup is will not reach/snap in place. I don't consider it s design flaw necessarily, and I plan to use it for my WHP anyway. I'm sure it will be fine. Just know if you own a WHP, it will not reach the snaps between the stirrups. If that is a deal-breaker for you, try something else (bigger).
I first order the Whitetail case and it was TWISTED! I sent it back and decided to try a different pattern in hopes that it was just a fluke problem or bad batch. I was disappointed to find that the problem was present in the second case that I ordered. If you look at the picture, you can see that the close end is high on the left while the far side is high on the right. It actually grabs the arms of the bow unevenly upon inspecting the foam. I contacted Barnett by email but, as seems to be typical after looking around the forums, they still haven't responded. It's unfortunate that they can't get their act together, this could have been a nice case.Update: one month and three more emails later, I still haven't gotten a response from Barnett.

Out of the box I had this together in 15 minutes. Out to my target I went, only to find the speed and power were far too great..First arrow went sailing through removing the fetchings and burying the arrow... Second arrow was placed in the quiver only to be released on a new target.. oh yeah, follow the cocking instructions, I went with the "man" way and threw my back out.. wicked. This is my first crossbow, the speed and power compared to my compound is amazing, it is loud compared to a compound so I am interested to see how the deer jump the string.Bring on bow season (I'm still amazed they allow these in the same class as a bow).I'm excited to get a target and put this beast to the test. So far I am amazed at the speed and power. The scope is ok, but I'm sure there are better available. I will give this one a shot or two first.
Happen to pick this up on prime day with the discount and was surprised big time when I got the box. Not sure if everyone know this but the sku on the box is for the lowest end version of this crossbow with an MSRP of $399. But the pictures show a different version, I was concerned that it may not show up with all the extra goodies. To my surprised this bow came as depicted in the picture and actually is the upgraded model with the sku ending in a 4, I believe dick's sporting good has this version for sale around $599. Not sure how this worked out but it is a great crossbow for the money. Didn't take long to sight in but haven't had the time to fine tune it. It is light, very adjustable and the trigger is surprisingly smooth. Can't wait to use it this upcoming hunting season.**UPDATE**Made it through first archery season so I thought I would update the review. Was able to take a buck with this at 44 yards (will state that I was in a 20' high stand shooting down hill so the actual distance may have been further, range finder takes angle into consideration). Great through and through shot, right on the money. I also used the barnett decocking arrow all season and it worked flawlessly with this bow. The only issue I have is that the paint on the limbs is starting to peel but it does not affect the performance of the bow. I look forward to fine tuning and using again in a year.
I got home from work at 4:15 and by 5:15, I was shooting at targets. Needing only one bolt, it was easy to assemble out of the box. I shot at target 5 times and I seemed to be hitting 2 inches high but dead center. Not bad for out of the box sighting. I probably need a little practice as well. This is the first crossbow I have owned although, I have fired them before. With a little range time, I'm sure my accuracy will improve. I feel that for the money, it is a decent weapon.

Here is a good review for a product I sent back. This case is BIG and hard and looks tough enough to hold and thoroughly protect your crossbow and some bolts. And had it been tall enough to accommodate my scope on my crossbow, I would still have this case!!! BUT it IS not tall enough to accommodate my scope and I could not close the case even when I took out all of its padding. Better dimensions on the descriptions would have helped me save some time and amazon save some shipping costs. SO HERE ARE THE MAX DIMENSIONS I DISCOVERED FOR THIS CASE. If the measurement from the bottom of your pistol grip to the top of your scope is 10 inches, THIS CASE IS NOT TALL ENOUGH (9” MAX for this case). My crossbow has an HHA Optimizer and thus DOES NOT FIT. If the length of your cross bow is 39 inches, that’ is JUST about the max length this case can handle. Maybe another inch in length without any of the butt padding. If your crossbow is 21 inches wide, you have PLENTY OF ROOM (MAX 25” for this case). This info in the description would have been REAL helpful, BEFORE I BOUGHT IT! I really liked this case and I sure wished it had worked. BUT it didn't work and I sent it back!!!! This case without any padding is not really protecting your crossbow. Hint to the manufacturer, “MAKE IT, BIGGER ADD PADDING, AND IT WILL WORK AND YOU WILL SELL MORE CASES.” HINT TO AMAZON ADD ID MEASUREMENTS TO THE DESCRIPTION!
The case is nice, but mine is kind of warped and it does not seal shut perfectly. When I close all of the latches there is still a gap in the case about 1/3 inch thick where items inside of the case could possible fall out of. I guess if I put miscellaneous items in my case such as field points and broadheads in a bag they won't just fall out of the case when I pick it up...This case is way oversized for the Barnett Whitetail Hunter 2 and I should probably have bought a smaller size, but there aren't many options out there. However, there is enough storage space in this case to fit all of my crossbow accessories and then probably a jacket as well, lol. At least I don't have to carry a separate bag of crossbow items.
I just received this case yesterday and although it fits my Excalibur Bulldog 440 it was missing a foam piece that is supposed to be in the middle of the case. Otherwise, it fits well and I'm happy with it. I like how you can secure bolts to the inside of the case- top I should say. It will most likely last me years to come. This is my second Plano case. I had the Spire for my Barnett Whitetail Pro STR and it for perfectly as well but it didn't have a specific area for extra bolts. I sold that bow but I still have the case. I want to sell that too but it'll cost too much to ship. Anyways I have no complaints other than the missing inside piece of foam.

This case fits the bow in there perfect and has room for arrows and many other things. When you spend that much money on a bow you want to make sure you protect it well.
Great case! Very well made. Has shoulder straps like a backpack! Has decent storage room.. way cheaper here on amazon too! And fits the R20 like expected
Fits like a glove. Very nice heavy duty case. Has two big pockets inside, plus the ones outside. If you chose to, you could use this as a backpack to carry your crossbow and gear in to the woods. I don't, but Im old and carry enough stuff in case things go really wrong. Great way to store your crossbow.

This is a well constructed case. Heavy weight Cordura Nylon and quality zippers. Exterior pockets are large enough to hold your quiver and arrows on one side, and your range finder and extra stuff on the other. The reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because I feel it is slightly over priced, and there should be two velcro hold downs for the bow on the inside of the case.
I looked around and selected this case it was a lot more in cost than many options but is a very nice quality case, it fit my Ten Point Stealth very well has pocket for quiver and 3 arrows, carry handle and back pack type straps. The cross bow was expensive, it deserves a quality case! I recommend you buy one.
Very satisfied with the case. Protect the investment of the crossbow. I did not want a hard shell and opted for this. Good choice , holds it secure and very padded for protection. Nice case , would recommend.
