My wife wore her original iPad 2 case completely out. Because I had bought a JETech case for my Samsung Tab S2 tablet and it gave me great service I bought her this one for her trusty iPad. She just loves it. Relatively inexpensive. Light weight but very sturdy, I believe it provides very good protection. My JETech case has saved my Samsung Tablet several times from damage after falls. And it does everything they claimed it would (shuts off when you close the case, allows you to take pictures with the case installed, folds to let you stand the case on its side for typing or working, etc.). I liked it better than replacement cases Apple had available. A GREAT BUY.
The original case I had from Apple finally wore out. My iPad is pretty old, so I didn’t want to spend a lot on a new case. This does the job. It isn’t as durable or nice as my Apple case was. In fact, one corner has chipped off after a minor fall, which never happened with the original case. I don’t take my iPad out of the house unless I’m on vacation, so I really only need it to protect against wear and tear and a possible slip out of my hands when walking from one room to another. The best feature is the automatic shut off when I close it. That feature works just as well as the Apple case did. I would definitely recommend this case.
A+++ - Wasn't expecting much for $12 + $12.49 freight (yes I'm too cheap to join Prime and don't have any other current needs to help reach $25 - I just need a case so this ancient iPad my son gave me won't slip out of my hands), but it's too hot to go store and wouldn't expect to find anything I'd like for under $39. So, I ordered, not even expecting magnet turn off to work but OK with just getting a cover. My surprise! Magnet turn off works, iPad slipped/snapped right in to a snug and secure fit, the top of the case has a nice semi-rubbery feel as does the back have a nice semi-plastic/rubbery feel. Even came with a note from manufacturer that if didn't fit properly please contact for a FREE replacement - totally unnecessary as fits perfect, but gave me a warm feeling as I opened that I was going to be happy. Color me happy and totally satisfied. Now, don't order this people if you're expecting it to smell like leather or be almost identical to an Apple original, but if you want a basic good cover for a minimal 10 spot and two ones, pull the trigger, you've found it. Also, it's not going to last forever, you won't want to take it with you when the time comes, but I'll have no problem ordering another when it becomes necessary. Hope this helps in your decision making. Onward.

My original cover came apart. The cover that I purchased is much better. The iPad fits perfectly and is surrounded by protection. I love the automatic sleep/wake feature, but mostly the perfect fit and protection are what I really appreciate.
Apple doesn't make this generation of iPad Air covers any more. I was looking for a low-profile replacement and this has really worked out. Much better than expected. Slip, perfectly functional, and works like the Apple flip cover except with a back.
Good little case, bought these for the kids ipads when they are doing their ABC mouse. The work well, they protect the ipad and seem sturdy enough.the magnet to shut off the screen is nice and the stand feature work well. Not much more to say

Rugged Protection OtterBox DEFENDER SERIES Case for iPad Mini 1/2/3 - Bulk Packaging - BLACK The Defender Series case provides heavy duty protection against drops, dust and damage without taking away from the usability of your phone's features. The Defender Series case offers triple-layer...

First off, this may or may not be an actual Otterbox. The packaging makes me a little suspect. It came in a clear bag inside a plain box with a warranty card and nothing else. I've purchased retail Otterboxes in the past with actual Otterbox packaging.Once you get past that, you will need to figure out how to get it apart to install your Ipad. There were no instructions, and I worried about breaking something in the disassembly phase. I figured it out, and installed my Ipad mini 2. It fit perfect. The fit and finish were top notch. If there was any complaint about the fit, It would be the rubber door over the charge port. It fits so tightly, that it can be difficult to open. I actually used a knife to get it open. Maybe longer fingernails with do the trick? This was a minor issue to me, since it appears it will keep out dust and moisture better with such a tight seal.On the down side, this thing is really heavy. Its about three times as heavy as the Lifeproof case I was replacing. Of course my Life proof had cracked from a drop.I don't intend on even using the outer most plastic back, because it adds more bulk and weight. I will use that only on airplanes when I need a stand for the Ipad. All the holes and controls line up as they should, and all buttons function properly. I would buy this again. If you want something ultra light, there are other style cases out there, but they don't offer as much protection.
Fits the mini iPad 2 like a glove, protect, and perfect stand with one side for wide display and the other for tall display.
I had to buy this because my work is transitioning to the electronic platform. Ordinary I wouldn’t take my iPad out of the house, but I did the other day and dropped it getting in my car onto to concrete garage floor. As soon as I got home I ordered this case! It was a *itch to get open to put the iPad in but if that’s any indication of the protection it provides, I’m quite satisfied.

As a former Apple retail employee, AT&T retail consultant and Geek Squad Agent who used an iPad in-hand to assist clients nearly everyday, I feel confident in saying the Gladius Air is the absolute best case of its kind if you're mobile or active. Hands down. What I love about it is the rotating, adjustable leather strap, which allows you to hold it in one hand with EIGHT different locking positions. Stunning! I haven't seen any other case like it. The strap's leather has a premium feel and makes you feel confident when holding it. It's perplexing to me that other manufacturers haven't picked up the trend, but New Trent is the gold standard for a case of this kind. It frees me from my desk and everyday mundaneness, and allows me to take productive walks without being concerned about the safety of my iPad.I have three criticisms that prevent me from feeling comfortable giving the Gladius Air a 5/5 rating:1) The polycarbonate faceplate covers more of the front panel of the screen than necessary in my opinion all the way to the edges of the LCD. I feel this limits my access to some of the multi-touch features and initially it felt very cramped/uncomfortable. You may have to swipe up from the Home button to access the Control Panel, and the Notification Center is similarly tedious to access because of the size of the PC faceplate. (Hey New Trent - the front panel around the screen is useful, don't neglect it!) Many top name manufacturers have figured out a way to give iOS cases military grade protection without doing this. I think the sacrifice is well worth it over time, but I'm still considering 3D printing a new faceplate design with more access for my larger hands. (I also agree with the other reviewers who feel the screen protector should be optional.)2) The TPU flaps that give access to the device's Lightning port, AUX jack and volume controls are thick and not flush to the point of access/insertion. (This is partially due to the fact that the case is made to fit both the iPad Air 1 and 2, I'm sure.) The problem it creates is potential scratching from inserting cords/cables without looking. Some people may not care very much, but it's bad for those of us who are concerned about resell value. Considering the thickness of the case and the fact that it is not waterproof, I think having flaps for these ports is unnecessary and causes more frustration than justifiable utility.3) The bulkiness of the case can tend to be heavy after long periods of time. If you're sitting, this isn't a significant problem because you can find a hard surface and use the kickstand, but if you're moving around with it, you may feel like switching hands after a while depending on how physically able you are. When I first got it, I felt like I was using my iPad in a museum-style box made to protect against irresponsible children from damage. I appreciate the extra protection, especially when I'm outside, but I think it's a bit excessive considering that it can be strapped securely to your hand.Despite my criticisms, if you are considering this case for mobility at work or for use on-the-go, BUY IT. You won't regret it.
We have four iPads in the house of various models and we've gone through a number of different cases for them over the past few years. This is one of, if not, the best case we've had yet.First the one concern I had is the screen protector. I've had cases in the past which never laid properly on the screen and so you'd always end up with "bubbles" under them. None of that with this case, it fit snuggly and tight, yet wasn't so tight you thought you'd break it putting it on.Next, the "handle" its comfortable for even my large hands. Perhaps a younger child may have a problem, but my youngest if a teenager and has no problems holding the iPad using the handle. The handle rotates and has detents which so that it doesn't just rotate when you don't want it to.Overall protection seems pretty "safe". We've only had the case for a few days, but it looks like it will do as good of a job as the other cases we've had.Oh - and the stand - its an ingenious design which works easily even though the handle is there. I haven't seen many "rugged" cases which have a stand that works both portrait and landscape - this one does and it works great!I would highly recommend this case if it fits your model.
I really prefer minimalist cases for my electronics, and I loathe built-in screen protectors. As such, this is not the type of case I would normally buy. However, after a close call in which my 7yo accidentally dropped my iPad (broke the glass screen protector, but the screen survived the impact), I determined that my current stage of life requires a little more protection. I got this case installed today and am pleasantly surprised. The strap on the back makes holding the device much more comfortable. The rotatable kickstand is also quite handy. Best of all, the built-in screen protector doesn't completely ruin the picture quality. Is it as good as tempered glass? No. But that would be an unreasonable expectation.About 8 minutes after the case got installed, my 5yo spilled mac n cheese on the device. Needless to say, I believe my hunch about needing better protection was correct. While this may not be the best case for personal tastes, I can say that it ranks very highly for a thicker case with integrated screen protection.

It’s suuuuch a great keyboard case, the best in fact. I’ve tried maybe 5 different ones. But after 6 weeks or so, the hinge is already so relaxed it barely holds the ipad open anymore except in the straight up position, and even then it’s iffy and might slam open or closed at any time. For an item that cost this much, it’s unacceptable, and I’m already needing to deal with an exchange on it. Which is why I bought this one, so that I would not have to. Why is everything built so crappy and cheap anymore....sigh.Update: I contacted Zagg and in order to have them replace their overpriced, poorly made product, I have to pay the shipping to receive another poorly made product. Downgraded to one star.
This is a great product I highly recommend it but if there is somewhere in the prod duct information that I miss read this is not for the iPad six generation
My only real gripe about this case (aside from the weight), is at what angle it will give up on holding the ipad up. I do a lot of work on construction sites, and specifically in new apartment units, so I use countertops and islands as my desk. So I tend to lean the ipad back at admittedly a bit of an extreme angle and it tends to give up and just open completely flat, which is disappointing. But, it's otherwise pretty awesome. The keys are more comfortable than the last keyboard I used, and the spacing feel more like my desktop keyboard, which I was pleasantly surprised about.
