Wow, what a let down. I purchased this same belt eight years ago in black. I am still using that belt to this day. It's heavy, holds it shape, and is still attractive after all these years. Sure, the wear is apparent, but it still has it's color and is perfectly acceptable in almost all situations. Because of this I wanted to get another one in the color brown.Immediately I noticed what other reviews have said. The leather is thinner and not as heavy. It is also much more flexible than not the old belt, somewhat flimsy. The wholes aren't finished on the inside. The metal clasps and protective ring don't have the noticable metal noise of the old belt, signifying much cheaper metal.I've been wearing it for two weeks and every day I have to switch the direction I put it through the pant loops in an effort to push back the bend left from my back. As I look at the belt while writing this, there are already noticable waves in the leather. The fit is good, and that's the only reason I bumped the review up a star. I don't expect this belt to last more than a year.Honestly, I paid less for it in 2018 than I did in 2010. But, I gladly would've paid double if I would've got the belt I was expecting. Sad, as my old belt now seems irreplaceable.
I've been wearing this belt daily for three months and five days. No rips or tears or any signs of weakness. Its comfy and strong. I wear a pant size 38 and bought this belt in size 42. Fits perfect. I work in appliance repair so I do a lot of bending over, kneeling, crouching and plenty of driving. This belt doesn't bother me except for sometimes while I'm driving but I blame that on my gut hanging over the belt and not the belt itself. I highly recommend this belt based on price and quality. Excellent value.Update (6/2017): It's been a year now and this belt is holding up beautifully. No rips or tears or any signs of weakness. I wear is literally everyday. Highly recommended.
I tend to do a lot of research, reading reviews, etc before purchasing something ... maybe too much at times but the more I read about this belt, the more confused I got. Some say it fits perfect, others say to add a couple of inches and the description says to add a couple belt sizes. I figured that since I fluctuate between a 33/34 waist size, I would order a 36" belt. I think, however, that's the length of the belt because at the loosest hole, I only had maybe a couple of inches past the buckle, not quite to my 1st belt loop. What is perfect though is Amazon's return policy, at least in this case. I requested a return, printed the label, packed it and dropped it off at UPS and when I got home I had an Amazon credit waiting for me. I'll be replacing it with a 38 inch belt just for the extra length.Regarding the belt, the leather is nice (not too stiff but not too pliable either) with kind of a matte finish and evenly tanned and the buckle is metal and has a matte finish on it as well. Overall, it's nicer (both in quality and appearance) than some other more expensive belts I've owned. I do IT work so there's a lot of bending and twisting and hanging stuff from my belt so we'll see how it holds up with that but it should be just fine. For those who don't know, 38mm is just a tad over 1 1/2". If I were to carry a gun, I would probably lean towards a little stiffer, thicker and wider belt but those tend to not be as comfortable for every day wear. YMMVHope this helps.

User reviews

Within 3 days of wearing, it's completely discolored. It's like it was spray painted black, and the spray paint has come off.The photos are from just THREE days of wear.
Claiming this belt is 100% leather is possibly false advertising or at a minimum very deceptive. The underside may be leather but the top visible surface is some kind of colored plastic or vinyl that flakes off or delaminates and looks awful after very little use. The entire belt is very stiff and inflexible relative to a true 100% leather belt. This product reflects poorly on Amazon and Columbia. Amazon should stop selling these poor quality belts.
This is my second time exchanging this belt. This time the belt received has no holes for the belt to actually clasp. How did this pass quality control? Belt itself seems nice but haven’t heard anything from the seller regarding my issues.

Nice enough pants for the purpose (a school performance), but the sizing is way off. The size guide says that a small is about 29.5 inches, but it came in at 34 inches! I even ordered a second time and the second pair came in at 33 inches. Both officially labeled small.
My son is 5'9.25" 115 super skinny long legs he measures 28x34 for pants. These pants are an inch or two too short but he didn't care, he wore them for attention and everyone pulled out there cameras! We ordered their 3 colors silver, gold and black pants and all 3 were size xxs and all 3 were different leg and waist lengths. The black pair 27x 28 and 26 waist, silver are 31x31.25 and he uses a belt but the length is good and the gold fit his 28 inch waist perfetly an but the length was 29/30 inches long. I dont want to discourage you from this product, just giving you a heads up. This arrived to our Florida home in less than a week, they are all super flashy cool and we would order again expecting it may take a few returns to get the size to work out. The front pockets hold my son's larger cell phone easily and were not too tight on the silver and gold pair, again my son's legs are super skinny. Oh and the gold pants I had to sew a button hole because it was missing but the button was there. Regardless of all that, I really appreciate being able to buy these pants. Since we returned the black pants I may buy a second pair of gold or silver because my son loves them so much. He has AUTISM and he loves attention from flashy clothes. These are awesome!
This woven fabric is stretchy, so make sure that you order the size of the pants is smaller than what you use to wear. (Like you wear the size medium, then you should order the size small for this pants.) Otherwise, it will be too big for you.

Riggs workwear ranger pants are ready for any job. One of our most popular work pants. Roomy side cargo pockets with flaps and concealed snaps hold lots of stuff.

These are my favorite pants. They fit properly, they have deep pockets and they are tough. They don't bust your balls like other pants do. I get about 3 years of hard use out of them. After 3 years they have too many holes. When new they are nice enough to wear on the town. They are well worth the money.
I bought two pairs of these pants for my husband for work. He's a professional gardener, so he needs pants that are durable enough to hold up to dirt, snags, and all sorts of rough use while also allowing him to have a good range of motion and flexibility. These pants seem like they will do the job. He has not worn them to work yet because it is the off season for him, but the material seems much more durable than his other work pants that kept ripping. As the person who has spent countless hours patching and repatching his work pants, sometimes on a weekly basis, extra durable fabric is a must, and the reinforced knees (mid-thigh to mid-calf) are a wonderful, added bonus (a gift to myself, really). He also was able to sit, bend, kneel, and squat comfortable in them. The legs and hip areas were loose enough for comfort and range of motion, while the waist (38) fit perfectly. I can't really comment on the fit of the waist compared to other pants because he has lost 25 lbs since we bought his last pair of pants in a different brand, so I had no idea what size he was when I ordered; I just bought a couple different sizes based on my best guess. They seemed a bit long when he first tried them on (he is 6' 3", and I ordered the 36" length, his normal pants length), but the length was perfect when he had his work boots on. For color, I bought one pair in black and the other in loden. They are both nice colors that seem perfect for hiding dirt stains. I have to return the loden because it is too big (size 40), but I will replace it with one in the same color.UPDATE 4/11/2018: Since I left my first review, I have ordered four more pairs of these pants because they are so comfortable and durable. He now works on a landscaping crew that gets contracts fixing people' yards after the electric company has dug them up, so he's hauling a lot of dirt and often gets on his hands and knees installing sod. He also sometimes works with the tree crews to clean up brush, so his clothes are often getting snagged by tree branches and sticks as well. He only has six pairs of these pants, so each one has been worn about once a week (sometimes more) for over a year now, and they're barely showing wear. There are a some tiny spots on each pair where the fabric looks a tiny bit frayed or thinner than the surrounding fabric, but nothing worth getting my sewing machine out yet. Most of the spots are on the usual areas, like the hem or on the double knees (still my favorite feature). Some areas of the pants are a bit faded (knees, mostly), but that's the least of our concerns. He says the pants have been very comfortable in all aspects of his job, though they do get hot during the summer, but he figures he's going to be hot regardless while working in the sun. In the winter, he wears a pair of long underwear from Eddie Bauer underneath for extra warmth. As the person who does the laundry, I can also say that they come pretty clean from the wash as well, without much effort on my part. I use about 2/3-3/4 of a cap of laundry detergent (versus half a cap for a normal load), and I don't fill the washer up as much as I normally would. I do give them a pre-wash sometimes if they're literally caked in dried up mud, but that's it.BTW, for those wondering about the "Dirt Drop Vents" on the double knees, when you're working in dirt on your knees, small dirt particles can work their way through the fabric and get trapped between the fabrics of the double knees, so it's good to have the small slit of fabric to get out any trapped particles. Just make sure to shake them out before washing, or else you end up with mulch and small twigs in the lint catcher of your dryer...
Amazing pants, where do I start. One year ago I bought a pair of these pants at a local retailer because I really liked the pockets and that everything on them seemed reinforced. Even the inside of the front pockets are thicker than most other pairs of pants that I own. Over the last year, they were my go to pants. I pretty much wear them all the time, even if they are dirty because of the convenience these pants bring with the large cargo pocket and their little satellite pockets on the right sided cargo pocket. The thick leather (or leather like) reinforcement on the front right pocket keeps my expensive pocket knifes right there without the possibility of them falling out or losing them. The knees are reinforced, and have openings at the bottom so that you can slip padding up in if necessary. They have a hammer loop on the side. The back pockets have some kinda super duty reinforcement fabric that lines the pockets, and the tops of the back pockets are heavily reinforced. The cargo pockets are large enough that I can put a check book sized wallet in them and still close the pocket flap to secure the pocket's contents.I have roofed in them, cut down trees in them, crawled through dirt and sharp rocks in them, climbed mature oak trees for trimming purposes in them, walked through South Texas briers in them, did a lot of attic work in them, and pretty much everything else in between. I have accidentally cut them, and the cut never got bigger, just frayed a little bit. These pants are pretty much bomb proof as they say. I own many different high quality cargo pants, but these outperform them all. The reason I bought these was that, although still functional as the day I bought them, my wife started getting embarrassed to go out in public with me because of the way they were looking (paint, oil, epoxy stains, rips). Like I said, I wear them if I am just going out, or going to do some pretty gnarly work. I just hope that Wrangler continues to make these pants in the future, as I don't see myself wearing anything else. They are very comfortable and not too heavy of a fabric that rubs you the wrong way. They are roomy enough for air circulation, and awkward positions. If you get them, you will not be disappointed

Love love love these pants! Milwaukee leather has excellent quality at fair prices the only complaint I have is about the sizing. When it comes to milwaukee the sizing is a bit.....generous. the 32 works much better and they are made to be trimmed at the bottom but overall great fit once you get the size you need.
5'9", 155lbs, 32" waistThe waist and thigh fit perfect when I put them on. However, the length and width from the knee down was far too big for my body. I took them to my local tailor and they look great after he finished the tailoring(~$65). The tailor thought these were $300 pants because the leather is so nice. With the tailoring and pants I have only paid about $180 for pants that should probably cost $250+I bought them for long motorcycle rides so I feel more protected from potential accidents.PROS- quality leather, thickness of leather is great abrasion resistance if you take a slide on a motorcycle, price, the pockets, styleCONS- no care instructions for the pants, the inner satin liner gets caught on your feet when taking them on and off, the sizing chart is a little confusing for someWould buy again.
I wear 32 or 34 jeans, depending on the brand. I ended up having to get size 34 for these pants... but returning the size 32 was easy, no problems. They fit awesome. I have athletic thighs, and while these don't fit baggy they aren't too tight either. They're really as good as I hoped for. Great quality, and the inner liner makes them extremely comfortable. The length is nice too, I normally have a very hard time finding pants long enough but these make it down to my feet. No trimming needed for me... if anything I could go longer, but when I have my boots on they're perfect. They also don't ride up or look weird when I sit.
