Size chart for Large says waist is for 29-31" and hips are for 39.5-41.5". I wanted loose for workouts, but these measure waist at (18.5 x 2) 37" and hips at (22 x 2) 45". The waist slips down off my hips. Ridiculous. These are not too large; they are TOO HUGE. Great price, but with sizing this far off, I don't trust what I should order to replace these. There is no drawstring, so there is no option to just wear and look as if I'd had a severe weight loss. I processed for a refund and even Amazon doesn't want them back. So, these will go to Goodwill and perhaps suit someone "fluffier" than me.Photo is with waistband held out front, but NOT stretched, and worn over a heavyweight t-shirt. BTW, actual inseam on this particular pair of size L sweats is 31.5".
These pants are really comfortable and have a great fit. I'm 204 lbs and 5'6" and the length and fit are perfect (I bought X-Large).I carry my weight in my legs and fitting in pants is always an issue, but these fit great right out of the box. I thought I'd miss having pockets and a drawstring but these offer a very smooth, slimming fit. They're a bit warm for sunny SoCal but we are having our share of rain and cooler weather. It's in the 60s today and the light fleece lining is perfect. They are comfy like pajamas but look great and I would not hesitate to go out wearing these, especially since the fleece makes them thick enough to not be see-through. I would definitely buy them again and you can't beat the price.
Maybe it's just me, but it feels like sweats are getting thinner and thinner as the years progress, and this is a good example of "thinner sweats," I remember when the bulk factor for sweats was significant enough to consider what coats and other outerwear you could and couldn't wear with it. With that caveat, not bad. They are thinner than expected, but still can be used in 45 degree morning walks without another layer, as long as you keep moving. The legs were long enough, and the very large was just about the right size for larger hips. But this purchase made me realize WHY some many sweatpants include drawstrings: a good fit at the hips may or may not insure a good fit at the waist. Also, this is another example of what extra large doesn't mean: the length between the crotch and the top of the waist needs to be longer than it is currently. If I wanted that much definition of my groin area, I'd wear skinny jeans, not sweats. They are not as bad as some I've seen, but still, sweats are designed to be loose, not fitted. While I realize that is function of those hips again, still EXTRA LARGE should include extra larger for that area too. 4 stars though because even with those complaints, still wearable, functionable, and useable.

Update:My infatuation with these pants has not waned. In fact, I have since purchased two more pairs for my sisters who now understand that I wasn't just being dramatic the past few months. Buy these pants.Original Review:Honest to god, I fantasize about getting home and putting these on. I look forward to it more than anything. I love these pants so much, in fact, that I have even worn them to work (with heels, a cute top, and a necklace) while daring anyone to report me for violating the dress code.I will die in these pants.
I practically live in sweatpants lately. So I’ve been on the prowl for ones that look nice, feel/fit nice, and actually have pockets. Because for some reason, way too many women’s pants have no pockets. Go figure. But anyways, I love these jogger style sweatpants. I immediately took off my previous favorite sweatpants and put these on when I received them in the mail. I was far from disappointed, but my now previous favorite sweatpants were; and they may now have to say their goodbyes. First off, the front pockets on these are huge. Not too big, and they don’t look bulky under the fabric in front. But I can put my hands in until my hands and a good 2”-3” of my wrist is covered; and they easily hold my oversized iPhone 6s Plus, along with a few other small items. And due to their depth, they do so without large items sticking out of the top or looking too bulky. The pocket in the back is a bit smaller, but it’s still big enough to hold my phone. It does Not cover the entire phone, about 2” sticks out. But overall, it holds it up just the way I need it to. The waistband is stitched nicely, and so that the elastic won’t end up going crazy, flipping around, and permanently folding/warping and becoming uncomfortable and unsightly. I’m 5’6”, 92lbs, with 35” hips and a 22” waist. The size Small (in graphite/gray) fits nicely. They’re a tiny bit big, but this was my intention when choosing my size. I have noticeably longer legs than my torso, so finding pants that fit can be quite the feat. The waistband fits my hips very comfortably, and they’re actually long enough reach my ankles and even slightly bunch up (this is also my personal preference when possible). I almost went with the XS, as I was worried about the waistband being too big; but I believe the XS may have been too short and am very glad I went with the S instead. The color, graphite gray, is a bit darker than I had originally imagined. This was a very pleasing surprise, as many gray sweatpants I have purchased in the past are too light for my liking. All in all, I would highly recommend these sweatpants. But if you’re going to buy them, prepare to part ways with some of your old sweatpants to make room for more of these...
These pants are glorious and I’m wearing them right now. I wish they made them in more colors. They are perfection. I am 5’5” and about 125 lbs and purchased a Small. I would describe them as a midweight cotton/spandex type material (like a pair of leggings) but in a brilliantly comfortable jogger sweatpant design. They are not heavyweight or fleece-lined like typical sweatpants, but not as light as cotton pajama pants. The high waist and back pocket are nice features.I’ve had 2 C-sections, and if I had known about these pants during my recovery, I would have lived in them! The snug-but-not-too-snug fit, high-rise waist, and functional drawstring make these pants ideal for postpartum moms. The only downside of these pants is that they are starting to destroy my marriage. I can’t help but notice my husband’s slightly pained expression as we leave the house and he says, “Oh, wearing those pants again?” with palpable disappointment in his voice. But what can I do? I love these pants. Eventually I know I will have to choose between him or these pants. It’s going to be difficult and I sure will miss my husband.EDIT (8 months later): My color dreams have come true! I just ordered these pants in light grey, charcoal, and navy - which is true navy though it looks lighter in the photos. I sized up to Medium for this round because my original black pair did shrink in a dryer cycle and I’m on the cusp of the two sizes anyway. I still LOVE these pants and highly recommend them for pregnant mamas-to-be searching for postpartum loungewear. Oh, and as for my marriage ... my husband has sworn to love me through my pants obsession 🙂

Comfort blend sweats are super soft and comfy. They not only feel good on you, but you can feel good when you wear them, knowing that they are made using up to 5 percent recycled polyester from water bottles

User reviews

These are really comfy and not super thick and stuffy or too thin either. The length fit me just fine, the waist is a little high they are defensive not low rise. I ordered the medium that I usually wear and to account for aome shrinking through the wash. The medium was a little bigger than expected though. I am 5’ 2” and currently 143 lbs. and I definitely could have gotten a small. The picture attached shows a side shot of me holding out the waist without any effort at all. I am ordering some other colors but will order small instead.
Runs ridiculously large. The Hanes size chart says XL fits a 32-34" waist, yet when I measured, the waistband is actually 42" wide, and would fit a 42-44" waist. There is no drawstring, just a 2 inch wide elastic band. The hip measures 52", inseam is 30", outseam is 40". The ankle is loosely cinched with elastic, leaving a 13" opening. The Navy Heather color is pretty, like that of faded denim. The fabric is between thin and medium weight. I'd call these 'just okay' for $6-8 sweatpants, but because the sizing deviates so far from the chart, I can only give 2 stars. I bought these expecting a generally comfortable fit, only to find the waist 10 inches too wide... so big they wouldn't even stay up on my hips.*** Update *** I ordered the medium and they measure (before laundering) 35" in waist and 45" in hip.. a FAR CRY from what the size chart says, and exactly what I needed in a pair of 'fat-day' sweatpants. Interesting to note, reviewers at W-Mart reported the same problem with size difference, so it's not an isolated issue of shipments to Amazon. I expect there will be a little shrinkage after laundering and will update later if it's worth mentioning. Advice: If ordering, order DOWN at least 1 size.*Update on my update, the mediums had barely noticeable shrinkage. After wearing them for a few months I've noticed that they're holding up pretty well with use and laundering. They do have a little bit of "pilling" but it's not too bad. I upgraded to 3 stars for comfort, price, and durability. They are "okay" for sweatpants. Note, I never wear them out of the house.
I am 5'3" and 206lbs and the XL was a perfect fit and I was shocked that they weren't too long. I wish the elastic bottoms were cinched a bit more but I ordered all,of,the colors despite this. Hope this helps someone.

The fleece in these is definitely thicker than your average fleece-lined pant. On the bright side, that makes them toasty warm. But on the other hand they sort of make you look like the Michelin man. I've washed and dried them once and the fluff factor was average, only a tiny bit of pilling. I'm 5'00, 106lbs and bought the XS. They fit well. I'm not sure these would work well for tall people.
These are the most comfortable and warm sweatpants I’ve ever owned. I literally have made them my relaxing and sleeping choice since it is so cold early in the season. They are not what you would call fashionable, but that’s not why you would own them. I ordered a second pair and may even get a third as I now can’t live without them. Going to be great this winter. If it is warmth and comfort you want then go for it. They are not slimming at all so if that matters to you, don’t bother. I have not washed them yet so can’t speak to the care of them. Be sure to double knot the ties or they will unravel or come out. That is the only thing I would change: finish the ties so this isn’t necessary. ( I’m glad Oprah hasn’t discovered these so there are enough to go around)
Got these for my pregnant wife so she could be warm and comfortable while fully preggers. She loves them and I'm jealous. Should get myself a pair.

I really liked the flattering look of these, but I was a bit hesitant about ordering because the picture seems, to me, to be of a teen to 20 something person wearing a junior fit pair. Junior sizes are mostly too short and or tight on me. (I'm in my 50s, but certainly don't like frumpy clothes.)I'm 5'5, 126 lbs. I ordered a medium, based on the size chart and reading reviews. These oatmeal gray pants are a perfect fit in every aspect, comfortable and are absolutely the best pair of sweatpants that I have purchased in a long time! I'm not one to exaggerate; these are THAT awesome for me. Bonus - the non-gapping pockets are deep enough for my cell phone ( barely, but still...). I'm not comfortable putting my cell in my pocket when I'm out somewhere.I consider these mid rise, which is what I wanted. The wide elastic waistband has a great tie in the same contrasting color of the pockets. I've not had a problem with the waistband rolling. If I gain 5 pounds, however, I think it would roll. Length wise, these aren't high-water nor are they ground-draggers. Whether I'm wearing my sneakers or am barefoot, these sweatpants (even when I cross my legs) are the perfect length for me.I wanted warm sweatpants, but not bulky and hot. Again, these met my expectations. I love the soft material and the stretch it has. They have a thin fleece lining which is surprisingly warm. Another bonus - no bumped out knees after wearing these all day!To address the shrinking and pilling issues some have had - I wash these in cold water on the handwash cycle and immediately take them out of the washer when they're done. I pull them slightly and hang them to dry in my laundry room. (This is how I wash a lot of my clothes.) I can honestly say that mine have not shrunk or pilled. My process may seem tedious, but it pays off in the long run and keeps swear words at bay. ;)This review is long, but I rely heavily on detailed information when deciding to purchase something that I have not bought before. Product info and the reviews are important to me. Vague reviews make me nuts. Thank you for your time in reading this and I hope you find it helpful.
The Champion Women's Fleece has good quality fabric. The design is for more of a slender leg and calves. If your a runner or just happened to be blessed with large calves then you might want to skip this set of Champion women's Fleece open bottom pants. They are very warm but a bit too tight within the legs area. Kind of hard to screw that up. I would recommend them for being outside with them. I would also recommend them for cold winter nights. The color and photo are true. They do have nice laces that tie in the front. I did notice that the quality of the fabric is such that it will peel if rubbed. So ladies who are also blessed with heavy bottoms will notice the quality of the fabric shred between their legs. It's a common problem and it has to do with weight and fabric quality. The quality of the band is very well neither too tight or loose. So that is well made. They might last you a few months to a year in the range of how long these types of clothing last. If you are thin and your legs don't ever rub together get some, you'll be warm and happy in them. For everyone else, perhaps try out another designer or some other product.
I was just looking for some sweats without the elastic at the cuffs; didn't have super high hopes for them. These are really nice! They're very comfortable, the length is long enough (I'm 5'8") and they fit very nicely. I ordered a size large; I'm about 165 lbs. The fleece is on the inside; I was thinking they would be fleece on the outside as well, but they're a smooth, sort of sweat-shirt feel on the outside. I dare say, they even seem slimming, which is not usually what you find in a sweat pant. I will be ordering more. Very comfortable for sleeping in or hiking, lounging around the house.
