We installed high tension electric wire with 1500 of these insulators onto a property line fence this past summer. As long as the insulators are inline before you tension the wire then they stay on the tee posts. Gradual elevation changes seem to be okay. Easy to install onto tee posts with existing barbed wire and less than half the effort and time when comparing to installing the yellow wrap around type. Can be installed in cold weather without a bucket of hot water to keep them from breaking. In rain and on heavy dew mornings we do find some arc to the tee posts. Bird droppings have caused this to happen also.
I can't say enough great things about this product. An innovative design that has allowed me to easily expand the area I keep my animals contained within. So far, even in the Texas heat and sun, I see no impact on the durability. Alternating them from front to back between posts has allowed me to strengthen the fence so as to lessen any concern I had about animals breaking through. Truly the best post insulator I have ever worked with.
These are very easy to use. Will buy them again.

Perfect tool for pulling out stakes. The only problem is that they really need to sell an extension handle to more than double the length of the lever arm. I couldn't pull out any 7' stakes (pounded 2' deep) with the stock handle. I did manage to pull out some 4' stakes with the stock handle. Better technique lowers the amount of brute force necessary. Place the base close to the stake, no more than an inch away. Otherwise most of your force is pulling the stake forward, not upward. Wiggle the stake vigorously back and forth in the direction of the "wing" to loosen the soil. You can also use a pickax, digger bar or, my favorite, a 1" inch auger bit to loosen up the soil. My 1' diameter, 6' pointy end digger bar just happens to fit in the 1 1/4" opening of the lever arm. I would remove the hook if you are not going to use it. It just gets in the way of the unit ratcheting down. The hook has a small opening so inspect it carefully before buying chain. This unit is quite rugged but I would still recommend gloves and heavy duty goggles when using it.
I used this Post Popper to remove 40+ t-posts that were part of an old garden fence. Removing the old fencing consumed the majority of my time and effort, this tool made short work of the t-posts once that was gone. I removed these 6-foot t-posts in early April when the ground was wet, they were driven 2 foot into clay soil and had been there for at least 5 years. If anything, the ground was probably a little too wet in some areas and the base of the jack (and 2x4 scrap I put under it) sank down into the wet clay sometimes when under a load. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to best use this tool, but it was pretty smooth sailing after the first couple of t-posts. I had the most success keeping the jack roughly parallel to the t-post (otherwise it tended to pull the post sideways instead of up), starting with the jack handle near level to the ground or just slightly raised (I couldn't get enough leverage to start the post moving if the handle was raised too high initially), and by lifting out the post with several small moves (as opposed to one continuous push). The working end of the jack handle is specifically designed to hook on to a t-post and will ratchet down the t-post when the jack handle is lifted and then lock into place when the handle is pushed downward, so you don't have to continually reposition or reattach it once the once the post starts lifting out of the ground. I did not use the included chain hook and actually removed it from the jack because the cotter pin that holds it in place kept coming out. This Hi-Lift post jack is very sturdy and well worth the money. I would expect this tool to last for a very long time... aside from a little mud, it still looks and performs like new after removing 40+ t-posts... would highly recommend!!!
If you know me, you know I love a great tool. One of my absolute favorite buys has to be this Post Popper. I bought it and it made nice quick work for me when pulling up these cemented posts. At first I was very skeptical, but after pulling my first post up within 5 minutes of attaching the tool, I was completely sold! I used this to remove a useless chain-link fence that was installed by the original owner of the house. It was installed to keep the neighborhood kids off of her lawn (she hated people lol). Now, I won't endorse a bad tool and I don't get paid for advertisements (I wish)... this is genuine and works great. Looks like I'll be keeping it after all.

Perfect for what I needed them for, which was putting up a snow fence. They seem very sturdy, but we will see how they hold up to the winter and strong winds.

The Orbit Zinc Impact T-post Sprinkler is ideal for watering large areas. Designed to fit on the top of most metal T-posts, a sprinkler mounted on a post gives you peace of mind knowing the sprinkler will not tip over or accidently be dragged out of place. It is an excellent choice for multiple...

User reviews

Needed a post-mounted sprinkler to water a flower bed in an elevated berm in the yard, which my ordinary ground stake sprinklers just could not adequately throw water onto. My only hesitation is that I have not had good luck with sprinklers designed like the Orbit, where the rotating mechanism begins to corrode with time and the rotating head slows down or intermittently stops. I have tried lubrication but with no success. The stake, in most cases, is made of pot metal, very weak and eventually breaks after some time from use. So a post-mounted sprinkler was my next choice. However, at this price point, I could not find any better one than that offered by Orbit. I actually used a tri-pod table saw support as my post for the sprinkler. Weighed down with a brick, it was an ideal platform for the sprinkler.
The product arrived broken. Upon further inspection it looks far more complicated than the other t-post sprinkler I bought last year. I returned it and bought on like the one I bought last year.
Mounts fine and is steady on the t-post. Doesn't want to orbit and the deflector is a poor implementation, you can not tighten it as it's on the spring screw. Water pressure pushes it away. Buy the Green Thumb unit - it works.

I was hoping they'd be really strong, because we have a very rocky base under our rocky soil. They are OK, but got pretty beat up as I hammered them into the ground. Using for a 2-foot dog fence for smaller and older dogs. After a month it has held up well.
Some deer got smart and pushed the 8ft high deer fence up and snuck under. I spaced my poles out at 10ft, so I put it right in the middle, pounded it in, used the hooks on the poles to secure the plastic fence, and my problem was solved.
A very light to carry, but very sturdy at the same time. It was very easy to install those. The ground was very dry and hard, but the stick when down under the weight of my body easily!
